Netdevil Announces big change in Billing!!

NetDevil is pleased to announce the launch of a new billing system for Jumpgate Classic and other NetDevil products. Our new system dramatically streamlines and modernizes all billing operations and is expected to improve our customer service response by internalizing the Jumpgate billing process to NetDevil.

Better Features

For the Jumpgate Classic community specifically, the NetDevil billing system also enables the following long-requested features:

- Simplified account reactivations
- Choices for billing period length
- Easy password changing and lost password retrieval
- No credit card requirement for Free Trial
- Free Trial period lengthened to 14 days

Support Changes

PayByCash services remain a payment option within the new system. However, Internet Payment Solutions will cease to provide direct billing and credit card services for Jumpgate on 7 April 2008.

The support email will now be pilot_support@netdevil.com for all billing concerns, as well as for all game and technical support matters.

As a result of the system cutover, all billing for Jumpgate Classic through Internet Payment Solutions (including both PayByCash and SaberCharge) is being terminated as of 7 April. All game accounts will remain active until the end of their current billing period through Internet Payment Solutions, at which point they will automatically be cancelled.

New account creation will likewise use the new system from 7 April.

Account Transfers

All customers who wish to maintain an active Jumpgate game account are asked to please visit the NetDevil Account Management website at the following URL to transfer your game account(s) to our new billing system.

Simply create a NetDevil ID for yourself, choose "Sign up for Jumpgate Classic", and select the option "Transfer an Existing Account" in order to set up billing for your account. Please note that if you happen to own more than one Jumpgate game account, you will only need to create one NetDevil ID from which to manage them. Billing via the new system will only commence after the former IPS billing period for the account has elapsed.

Reminder emails regarding the account transfer process are being sent to all customers who had a current email address in the IPS billing system, but we recognize that coverage via that system is likely to be incomplete.

We do apologize for the inconvenience of the need to conduct the account transfer. The drastically improved features and service deriving from the new system should make the brief transfer process well worth it.

JG:E - A Test Pilots first look...

In early October I was fortunate enough to have a business trip to the Denver area that allowed me to make some detours to the NetDevil facility to see what Istvan and the rest of the Jumpgate Evolution team were up to, plus to go play test pilot for them.

It was a real pleasure to meet the men and women behind the Jumpgate Evolution project and to see the extraordinary results of their labors. After several introductions and facility tour, the time finally came to see â��ITâ��.

Pilots to Receive Critical New Information Friday from TRI Liason

New Dawn Command has been advised that after several months of deeply classified work, TRI Liason Draker will be Conducting an interview and briefing on JPR. JPR Station management was contacted Monday by Jumpgate's Producer GM Draker who will be giving JPR a first look exclusive before the other media outlets.

GM Draker will be interviewed by rt-mus of Quantar and LupinOne and the interview will air Friday, June 22, 2007, beginning at 7pm Pacific, 10pm Eastern.

Octavian Military Raids Conflux Team Offices

Outpost (TRI-FP) - In early morning raids, several members of Dr Calatorius\' Conflux Studies team were arrested and taken away by Octavian military police, apparently on the authority of Legate Lucanus.

\"We have been monitoring key people in the Conflux Studies organization for many weeks,\" stated Lucanus. \"Dr Calatorius was unaware of our investigation, as it was initially a routine sweep through government personnel. The doctor himself is in no way suspected of wrongdoing, and was unaware of the information leaks - in fact, the military team would have also missed them, had it not been for a very subtle mistake.

\"Given the overwhelming evidence against the personnel arrested, they will be interrogated, and assigned to labor camps, until such time as they are of no further use to the Empire.\"

Legate Lucanus declined to elaborate further, citing factional security concerns and an ongoing investigation.

Amananth Breaks Silence; Issues Warning

Amananth (TRI-FP) - In a highly unusual move, Amananth has issued a public, albeit cryptic, statement.

\"Thrice Seven have returned. Conflux have infiltrated CLAWS, meaning it can no longer be trusted. Analysis indicates high probability of something major very soon.

\"We urge you to work together. We urge you to be vigilant. We urge you to eradicate the cancer in your midst.

\"We are all at risk.\"

Following the statement, the Octavian Ministry of War was quick to respond.

\"We welcome Amananth\'s words, \" remarked Calatorius. \"In the spirit of interfaction cooperation, we invite the governments of all factions to attend a strategic conference, hosted by the Octavian Ministry of War, to discuss the current threat, and identify both strategic and tactical plans to counter this current threat level.\"

At this time, there has been no response from the other factions.

Clements IV Appoints New Military Leader

Octavius Core (TRI-FP) - In what appears to be a direct response to the recent appointment by Quantar of Rohi bin Hamalzahdto to High Defender of the Faith, Emperor Clements IV of Octavius has named Legate Petillius Lucanus to the office of Supreme Military Strategist to His Imperial Majesty Emperor Clements IV.

\"Legate Lucanus will be tasked with overseeing all aspects of Octavian war policy\" stated Emperor Clements IV after making this announcement. \"In addition to acting as a direct liaison between the Empire and its pilots, the Legate will also assume direct oversight of the restoration of Injustice production as well as the Ministry of War. The civilian management of OPL has had long enough to bring these critical weapons back online, and have so far failed miserably. Simply put, it is time for more forceful leadership.\"

Little information is available on this appointment, however, coworkers, who wished to remain anonymous indicate that Lucanus is known for a very direct and often confrontational style of management, but at the same time achieves his goals, often by any means necessary.

OPL Investigating Injustice Options

Great Pillars (TRI-FP) - Octave Propulsion Labs, manufacturer of the formerly popular Injustice heavy laser, has been reprimanded by Octavian authorities for reportedly exploring nontraditional options for a production restart. Ill-starred production of the Injustice has been halted for more than a year, with a Cromforge saboteur aided by Quantar pilots most recently responsible for preventing resumption.
